Panama Road Trip Planning
Yes I’m planning another trip - to Panama this time…..
I’ve got free flights from Medellin to Panama City - the joys of Continental’s Onepass frequent flyer program that I can thoroughly recommend. I’ve been to Panama already, but only had a fleeting visit to Panama City (a bit boring), Bocas del Toro (great at the moment, it’ll be wrecked by development soon enough though), and the San Blas Islands (where I tell everyone I know they should visit - these islands will be idyllic for years to come I’m sure).
Panama is a great country, and the tourism industry is just starting to take off. The Panama section of bigtravelweb is a little underdeveloped, so I thought it was time to fix that. Early March and I’ll be going to the Pearl Islands for a few nights, then picking up a hire car (filthy cheap at $180 for 10 day with National car hire) and heading to El Valle de Anton, before heading onwards for a road trip around the Azuero Peninsula and onwards to Boquete and the Baru volcano.
I hope to develop the Panama section of the site a little more when I get back to Medellin at the end of March…… check here later…..
