Akwasi,

Getting funding for ecotourism projects isn't always so easy from my experience...... best to try the local/national means to raise funds, if that fails look internationally..... in reality if you want to find funding on an international level, you'll probably be best off finding a "Western" volunteer who has experience in fundraising who can help you find funds and develop the project ..... www.volunteerabroad.com is a good place to start looking for volunteers......otherwise try somewhere like www.idealist.org ........................try also posting a job ad on www.craigslist.org ...................... hope that's of help and good luck!

I have developed a proposal for the development of an ecotourism project at Akwaboa in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. I need a funding support to be able to implement the project in full. Please assist with a list of funding agencies who will be interested in my proposal. I will forward an abstract of the proposal to any interested funding agency
