Raja, you've slightly lost me, but I think yes it probably would be possible to do what you want, but given the hassle and cancellation fees involved to cancel what you've already bought it's unlikely to be cost effective to do what you are suggesting. You don't loose anything contacting LAN though.

Wish I knew this before. But I have already bought an international ticket to Lima and then one leg to
Cuzco. I would first try to cancel this, if so, would it be possible to buy a open jaw ticket from Lima-Cuzco, Juliaca-Santago Santiago-Lima ticket through this airpass priviledge? Thanks in advance...

Sandra - try a Hahn airpass from Panama City to Manaus - see http://www.bigtravelweb.com/travel/2007/10/21/south-america-airpasses-flights-guide/ - then from Manaus to Santarem see the page www.bigtravelweb.com/brazil-flights.htm for some suggestions and route maps. I doubt there's a cheaper way...

I am interested in traveling from Panama City, Panama to Santarem, Brazil for 3 1/2 months. Air fares are really high. What pass would work best leaving from Central America and being able to end up close to Manaus or Belem, Brazil? Thanks

Not sure if this is a new thing, but you can now book the Airpass online at http://plane.lan.com/cgi-bin/compra/saa.cgi.

I've booked five flights which add up to $800 based on the individual fares listed at http://plane.lan.com/promociones/data/norteamerica/us/todo_el_mundo/saairpass_tabla-en-us.html and the flights come to $1000 in total once taxes and surcharges are included.
