I’m Chris, 27, a travel enthusiast and SEO expert from London, UK. I write this blog, and the entire website, to share advice and tips on travel to Latin America. BigTravelWeb was launched in September 2007, and as of May 2008, it’s already receiving about 1000 visitors per day. By 2009, my projection/aim is to be receiving about 1.5 million visitors per year.
I’ve previously worked as an ecotourism consultant (in Ecuador) and have also worked for one of the UK’s top specialist tour operators (Journey Latin America), booking Latin America holidays for clients that ranged from budget trips to luxury 8 week itineraries. I’d like to think that the advice I can offer on this site is pretty high quality.
I’ve travelled to over 50 countries. I´ve visited most countries in Latin America, and am working on visiting them all very soon I hope. I’ve lived in 4 countries - Uk (where I´m from), Belize, Ecuador and now I’m living in Medellin, Colombia.
